With more than fifty years combined experience in interior design, Christa Buchanan and Megan Clawson bring seasoned expertise to every project.
A shared love of home and family was the start of a friendship and a shared love of design became the perfect professional pairing. With eight children between them, Christa and Megan understand both the need for utility and desire for beauty within living spaces.
We believe interior design is a partnership between client and designer. We know the intersection between form and function can be confusing and the world of design can feel overwhelming. We are experts in balancing form with function and work with our clients to create a space that reflects who you are and how you want to live.
Christa Buchanan brings decades of design experience and a deeply personal perspective to creating beautiful, livable homes. Raised in Southern California, Christa developed an early appreciation for interiors and has spent years studying design, continually refining her eye for balance, texture, and timeless style.
Her path into interior design was shaped by hands-on experience. Over the years, Christa has personally renovated eight homes—each one deepening her understanding of how thoughtful design can transform the way people live in their spaces. These projects ultimately set her on the path of helping others create homes that feel both meaningful and enduring.
Christa is especially drawn to soulful design—spaces layered with character, history, and patina. She believes the most beautiful homes are those that tell a story, where collected pieces, natural materials, and thoughtful details create warmth and authenticity.
Christa and her husband raised their three children in North Carolina, with a short chapter spent living in Texas along the way. Through each move and renovation, she developed a design philosophy rooted in livability and the belief that a home should evolve naturally with the people who live in it.
Travel continues to inspire Christa’s work, particularly her visits to England. After several trips exploring its historic villages and countryside, she has developed a special fondness for the English countryside and it’s layered history, charm, and quiet beauty often finds its way into the spaces she creates.
Megan Clawson brings a thoughtful, well-traveled perspective to her work in interior design. Born and raised in California, Megan developed an early appreciation for beauty, history, and the natural world. She went on to graduate from Brigham Young University with a degree in History and Education, where her love of storytelling and cultural context began shaping the way she views spaces and the objects within them.
During her studies, Megan spent time in London studying art and architecture—an experience that deepened her appreciation for timeless design, historic spaces, and the layered character that makes a home feel truly special.
Megan and her husband, Matt, later made North Carolina home, where they have raised their five children. Family life has been a joyful and formative part of Megan’s journey, influencing her belief that homes should be both beautiful and deeply functional for everyday living.
She finds constant inspiration through travel, time in nature, and exploring places rich in history and craftsmanship. Megan brings that sense of curiosity and appreciation for enduring beauty into every space she helps create, believing that the most meaningful interiors reflect the lives and stories of the people who live in them.
